Our Mission Statement

The Dwayne Have A Heart Foundation's mission is to raise public awareness regarding Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which is a rare congenital heart condition.
In addition, our goal is to raise funds to help those children and their families who have been affected by this rare illness.

About Our Foundation

The Dwayne Have A Heart Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to spreading awareness about Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, as well as other congenital heart diseases that affect children. One of the principal goals of this foundation is to host fundraising events that will support and help families care for their loved ones.

The foundation was created by Shantell and Christopher "Chris" Mitchell to continue Dwayne's legacy. It is the Mitchell family's goal to ensure that other families whose children have faced a cardiac tragedy find comfort and support. Currently, Chris serves as the Foundation's President and Shantell serves as the Vice President.

The Dwayne Have A Heart Foundation is registered as a not-for-profit corporation with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) section 501(c)(3). Our tax identification number (EIN) is 47-4541728.
